What we collect from your child
We collect from your child:
- first name and last initial,
- birth month and year,
- a username,
- the projects they create, and
- their conversations with Coach, our AI study tool.
We do not collect a child email under 13, phone number, home address, school, photo, face, or precise location.
How we use it
We use this information only to run the course, keep your child safe, and show you their progress. We never sell data, never show ads, and never use your child’s data to train AI models. We never share it except with the service providers that run our platform — hosting, database, payments, and the Claude AI study tool.
Your rights
You can review or delete your child’s data, or withdraw your consent, at any timefrom your Parent Dashboard. These rights are always available — they are not tied to the refund window. You can also email us at hello@buildseason.camp.
How you give consent
Your enrollment charge serves as your verified parental consent and will appear on your card statement. By checking the consent box and completing enrollment, you confirm:
“I am the parent or legal guardian of the student I’m enrolling. I have read the Direct Notice and Children’s Privacy Policy and consent to the collection and use of my child’s information as described.”
We collect the consent record and create your child’s profile only after this step is complete.
